Physical Facebook like ? Yup, it’s as easy as pressing a button. Of course the device needs a way to identify you first and there are multiple ways to approach this. For example, you could include a QR code on your identification badge  and then a camera would read the code. Or, you could use an RFID card and pass it in front of the device.

That’s the approach we used during the last year Webstock conference . And one more photo  from Webstock.

The same approach works for Foursquare. If you are a business owner and you are already using plain old loyalty cards, you can further enhance these to have people automatically posting about your location on Facebook or Foursquare by just adding a psychical check-in device to your store.
